Eni Rewind is one of the main Italian players in the environmental remediation sector. It stands out for overseeing the entire value chain and for carrying out activities across over 150 industrial sites nationwide. Since 2003, we have managed remediation, treatment, and recovery of soil, groundwater, and industrial waste, acting as a global contractor for all of Eni's business lines, from oil extraction to chemicals and refining, logistics, and service stations. Since 2020, we have expanded our services outside the Eni group, securing contracts from leading clients such as Edison, Kuwait Refining and Chemicals, Acciaierie d'Italia, Invitalia, Sogesid, Anas, and the Municipality of Rome.

Thanks to a team of approximately 1,000 professionals, we supervise all phases of the process, from characterization - with over 5 million analyses per year, jointly managed through our subsidiary LabAnalysis Environmental Science, an Italian leader in environmental testing - to design, execution, and certification that are tailored according to their intended repurposing projects.

Our proprietary areas currently for encompass over 3,400 hectares across Italy. As of 2025, around 68% of our land is non contaminated or remediated and therefore available for new projects. Around 11% of this portion is already intended for photovoltaic plants/BESS. The remaining 32% is undergoing environmental activities to reuse the land over the next decade, primarily for building new plants for renewable energy, as well as intermodal logistic hubs and platforms for waste treatment and recovery.
